Recently while uploading a new WordPress Theme on my DigitalOcean account, I came across this error; “The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini”. I guess, by default DigitalOcean has set very low file upload size to avoid excess load on server.
To solve this problem we need to increase the maximum file upload size in WordPress. In this article, I’ll share the easy method to increase the maximum file upload size in WordPress on DigitalOcean.
Before doing anything, please take a full backup of your WordPress Blog. Also I cannot guarantee that this method will work for you!
